Yellow Birch is a closed-grained, even-textured cream or light brown hardwood with lustrous brown flecks and warm undertones. Yellow Birch is similar to Maple in grain, but has more color.
SHEFFIELD GRADE is a lively character product that shows the full appearance of this specie. Coloration ranges from rich, dark heartwood to light red tones to warm yellows and creamy white sapwood. Sheffield will include all of the natural characteristics of this specie, including sound knots, streaks and color variations. An occasional hole of less than 1/2" in diameter may need to be filled.

Lengths range from 11" to 8', with an average board length of 2 1/4' (Note: Flooring that is less than 11" is in addition to the net square footage of the bundles. These are included for filler only.)
