Chelsea Ash Strip, Solid, 3/4" X 2 1/4", Gunstock

Ash is a durable and dimensionally stable hardwood used in the manufacture of baseball bats, hockey sticks, furniture and Chelsea Plank Flooring. With an Oak like appearance and a hardness factor greater than Red Oak, Ash is an ideal hardwood for plank flooring.

Aside from durability, Ash plank flooring is also "green". Currently, the Emerald Ash Borer (an insidious insect from China) is decimating the Norther White Ash tree population. Though not "Reclaimed", we are "Claiming" Ash trees and converting them into beautiful plank flooring before the Emerald Ash Borer can convert the trees into fire wood.
